Tijd is a straightforward application that presents the time in fullscreen, accommodating various orientations. What sets Tijd apart from similar applications is its utilization of a font that maximizes screen space effectively. Additionally, users can conveniently adjust screen brightness and contrast using simple finger swipes.

Tijd was developed with a specific focus on individuals with visual impairments. Unlike other clock apps that typically center the time display, Tijd capitalizes on screen real estate by ensuring the time fills every inch of the current orientation. This design choice enhances time visibility, particularly in low-light conditions, making it an ideal bedside companion for those with impaired vision.

Although currently ad-supported, Tijd will soon offer an ad-free option for users. The application boasts prominently displayed numbers for easy readability and ensures that devices do not auto-lock while in use. Furthermore, users can fine-tune color contrast and display brightness through intuitive swipe gestures.
